Planning applications
We publish every planning application for 21 days so that anyone can comment. Comments must reach us by the date shown on the application.
Old Customs House, Quay Road (26/04117/FUL): comments by 13 November 2026. The plans are for 42 homes, a public café and a riverside walk.
Building control
You may need building regulations approval for work such as an extension, a loft conversion or removing a wall. Our building control team checks plans and inspects work on site.

If you are homeless or at risk of losing your home
Contact us as soon as you can. The earlier you contact us, the more we can do to help you stay in your home.

Apply for social housing
To apply for a council or housing association home, join our housing register. Email housing@larkhaven.example or call 01632 960 000. We will assess how urgently you need to move and explain how to bid for homes.
Problems with a private landlord
If your rented home has serious damp, mould, broken heating or other hazards, tell your landlord first. If they do not fix the problem, email housing@larkhaven.example. We can inspect your home and order your landlord to make repairs.
