Quay Market
Quay Market is held in Quay Square every Saturday from 08:00 to 15:00. Stalls sell fresh fruit and vegetables, fish, bread, cheese, street food, plants and crafts, many from local producers.
Winter Market 2026
The Winter Market runs in Quay Square from Friday 4 to Sunday 20 December 2026, from 10:00 to 20:00 every day.

Book a pitch
Winter Market pitches cost from £28 a day. The price depends on the size of the pitch and whether you sell hot food.
To apply for a pitch at the Winter Market or Quay Market, email markets@larkhaven.example and tell us:
- what you sell
- which days you want to trade
- the size of pitch you need
- whether you need electricity
You need public liability insurance. If you sell food, you must also be registered as a food business.
Street trading licences
You need a street trading licence to sell goods or food in the street anywhere in Larkhaven outside the markets.
Apply at least 28 days before you want to start trading. Email licensing@larkhaven.example with what you want to sell, where and on which days. We will check the location with our highways team and the police.
You do not need a street trading licence for a pitch at Quay Market or the Winter Market. Your pitch booking covers it.
Charity and community stalls
Charities and community groups can have a free pitch at Quay Market once a month. Email markets@larkhaven.example to book one.
Common questions
Do I need to bring my own stall?
At Quay Market, you bring your own gazebo, table and weights. At the Winter Market, we provide a covered stall with lighting.
What happens in bad weather?
Quay Market runs in all weathers. We only close it if high winds make it unsafe, and we will email traders the evening before.
