Come and find out about the draft budget for 2027, ask questions and tell councillors what matters most to you. This public meeting is a special meeting of the Finance and Resources Committee, held in the Council Chamber at City Hall.
What to expect
- a short presentation on the draft budget from Robert Kingsley, Director of Finance and Resources
- questions from residents, answered by the Mayor and councillors
- a chance to tell the committee your priorities before it reports to Full Council
You don’t need to book. If you’d like to ask a question, you can send it in advance to budget@larkhaven.example by 12:00 on Tuesday 10 November, or raise your hand on the night.
The meeting will be webcast. The agenda and papers will be published on the meeting page.
Accessibility
City Hall is step-free and the Council Chamber has a hearing loop. If you need a British Sign Language interpreter, please let us know by Thursday 5 November.
Getting there
City Hall is at 1 Quay Square. Quay Road is being resurfaced overnight from 2 to 20 November, starting at 20:00 each evening, so expect lane closures nearby when you leave.
Can’t come? You can still have your say online until 4 December 2026, and read the full proposals on our Budget 2027 page.
